Small issue with chapters layout when table of contents is longer than one page
When the table of contents is two pages long, the template currently resets the page number to 1 on an even page. All chapters then start on the backside of the paper and not on the front as intended. Before \setcounter{page}{1}
there should be a \cleardoublepage
command to skip to an odd page. Then the even-odd order is preserved. The commands to manually insert a blank page can be removed, otherwise there are two consecutive blank pages in this case.
I hope this helps if someone else prints a thesis with this template in the future.
